Yesterday, two guys I like made me cry. The first one is Phoeben Teocson. It's not that he meant to make me cry, but hey, he's a wedding videographer so basically his work naturally makes some people cry. And after watching numerous videos done by him, I finally cried at one - his own wedding video. (More on Bim and his work in a different entry. I don't want to cry again this early today.)
The second outburst was because of this certain picture. It was posted somewhere on the net on a social networking site. And me being the lazy girl last night viewed it on my phone, and spent five minutes reading it. You have no idea how painfully small these letters were. I had to zoom a few times.
After wiping the tear that fell, I realize, I just had my heart broken. Again.

It is Love.
Tweeting really is fun for me. Basically because of the interaction.
Not really much interaction this afternoon, but as I was scrolling through the news feed, somebody tweeted: "My tree is finally up! Most wonderful time of the year!"
And me, being hooked on Christmas trees lately, checked out the picture. And something else caught my eye. =D
Take a look at his shelf:
Yes, it is love. =D

Presenting...
I am too sleepy to write.
I can barely type a sentence without hitting the backspace button, let alone construct something decent for this blog.
To make up for my promise to myself of writing, here's what I'm supposed to write about:
Oh how much I miss writing right now. But for now, I really need to sleep.

Jejemonation.
According to UrbanDictionary.com, a Jejemon is:
So in my words, Jejemonation is Jejemon Domination, as seen in my Facebook account:
There's no stopping them, really. To see for yourself, click on the picture to zoom. Or better yet, log on to your own Facebook account and change the language setting to "Leet Speak".
1) Usually seen around social networking sites such as Friendster and Multiply, jejemons are individuals with low IQs who spread around their idiocy on the web by tYpFing LyK diZS jejejeje, making all people viewing their profile raise their eyebrows out of annoyance. Normal people like you and me must take a Bachelor of Arts in Jejetyping in order to understand said individuals, as deciphering their text would cause a lot of frustration and hair pulling.
CAUTION: THESE INDIVIDUALS ARE BREEDING! THEY CAN BE SEEN WRECKING GRAMMATICAL HAVOC ON FACEBOOK TOO!
2) Jejemons are not just confined to trying-hard Filipino gangsters and emos. A Jejemon can also include a variety of Latino-Hispanic fags who enjoy typing "jejejejeje" in a wider context, much to the disdain of their opponents in an internet MMORPG game such as Ragnarok and DOTA.
3) Basically anyone with a low tolerance in correct punctuation, syntax and grammar. Jejemons are usually hated or hunted down byJejebusters or the grammar nazi to eradicate their grammatical ways.
On AIM or YM:

You: Huh?
miszMaldiTahh111: i LLyK tO knOw moR3 bOut u, PwfoH. crE 2 t3ll mE yur N@me? jejejejeje!
You: You are a jejemon! Don't talk to me, you uneducated retard!

Ca-ching!
People wonder why I have a bulky wallet.
Not that it's full of cash (that's a rare moment), it's full of my cards.
Name it, I think I've got it. Bank cards, debit cards, loyalty/privilege cards... And I forgot the reason why I have that much loyalty cards. Let's see... I have the Wise Card, Suki Card, Laking National, Powercard, Pizzanatic Card, TK Amazing Card, McDo Card, Bench Lifestyle Card, Gonuts Card... And I'm planning to get about a couple more cards.
I'm not going to explain each card's perks but when I got them, they all seemed sensible to me. (Now I'm thinking I'm too much of a shopaholic to be buying all those plastics.) And tonight, I think they all really made sense. I got to shop cashless! Wooot! (And I didn't use the debit card!)
I can still hear the Bench saleslady's question, "Mam, would you like to add more to your purchase? You have xxx left in your card." Music to my ears. ;-)
Anyway, when I got home mom ranted about Facebook. It only occured to me tonight that my account was updated. Literally. Overhauled. Made-over.
Pfft. Oh please Facebook don't copy Multiply's interface. I hated that one. (But I still love my Multiply account more.) Anyhoo. Speaking of cashless spending, I'm thinking of upgrading my Multiply from free to premium. And charging it on the debit card, of course. ;-)

Yeah, The Bad Boys Are Always Catching My Eye.
And this is the daily dose of random Monday morning rush buzz. Yep, there will be random rants after this sentence, this will be a quick post and it's up to you if you care or not.
So it's Monday. I woke up late. But I got in the office on time. Buzzer beater, pare. ;-) I am sooooo happy to finally arrive on time, on a Monday at that. At this point, I want to blame my past tardiness to Stresstabs and the irritating urban traffic, and weird Pinoy human traffic. I blame Stresstabs because it has a weird side effect on me. I am more sleepy now than before. Therefore I've been oversleeping, I think.
Anyway, human traffic is when pedestrians just can't get over the average 5.3kph rate of walking. You know what I mean. Oh how I miss walking in the streets of Hong Kong. Surprisingly, Chinese people walk fairly fast (pretty much like the Westerners) and they don't bump into each other. Now that's the kind of human traffic I need in Alabang. Not that I'm against strolling or taking your time with walking, but I hope these people do mind not obstructing the whole sidewalk. They can do that in malls or parks. (Just not always at the mall.)
*Now I'm really missing Hong Kong. Better start saving up again.*
Speaking of saving up, I managed to lower my monthly spending by 25% and I am thanking the little game Niq and I have. They say it takes 21 days to break a habit. Every time I'm at the 15th, 16th or maybe 20th day, I revert and succumb to my old ways. Pfft. And last week I have to admit I did just that, and it's really because I couldn't resist it! I think this site should help in breaking the habit. :-)
You see I was psyched last year when a former co-worker of mine has this huge bottle of hand sanitizer that you can spray sitting on his desk. I was so hung up on the item that I kept bugging him to tell me where he got it, and he told me that it was bought at a department store. And I tried looking for it for a month in different branches of that department store, but unfortunately failed. And just last week, I finally found what I've been looking for. (Is that a line from a song?) Of all places, I found my new spray hand sanitizer at Bench! :-) I forgot to take a picture but it comes in three scents, lavender, mandarin burst and the regular scent. I got the mandarin burst.
*Will upload picture some time later. And probably a separate review. :-)*
I think there's still space for one more rant. ;-) And I just have to let this out because yesterday, I was working. (Pfft, I know. Haha! My fault anyway.) The laptop I was using yesterday was not installed with plug-ins for me to listen to Magic's Sunday countdown, so I resorted to tuning in to MTV. This is what I hate about mainstream. Whatever song you hear on the radio, is probably the same ones playing on TV, and everyone else's Ipod. And hearing songs over and over again, and literally everywhere, just makes me want to gag. (I support Indie and new artists more than mainstream artists. Hooray for originality and new blood!)
So after about ten minutes of Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, Lady Gaga and Beyonce, something new to my ears played. Which I definitely had to share with Monique. (And that's a different story.) You see, there's just this something in bad boys that really make my head turn and go after them.

Monday Rush.
Wake up here I go, cram it all down my throat, stomach so full, that I wish I could choke, 7am my head's already in a spin. - Simple Song, Miley Cyrus
Woohoo!
Okay, I'm done with today's entry. Kidding.
Honestly, I did not expect my Monday to be like this. Except for the choir duty part, everything else is not the same. First off, I was in the middle of this pointless argument last night, which I do not want to further discuss here anymore. Second, I am this close to falling asleep on my office desk as I only got less than two hours of sleep last night this morning prior to the Misa de Gallo. Bottom line, I am nowhere near sane. Let's talk later. But before later, here comes the third thing. Brittany Murphy died.
You read it right. The Just Married star I adored back then is now gone. What is happening with Hollywood? Anyway, I first read about it on Facebook. I think a couple of my friends had it on their status messages. (You know, the RIP _ drill. Sometimes Facebook is a great headline carrier.) But since I am running late for work (despite getting ready really really early), I decided to google the news when I got to the office.
I think I am now dependent on Yahoo!'s OMG site when it comes to stuff like this.
Since this is a sort of incomplete news, OMG credited TMZ.com as the rightful source of the news. Which apparently, is still giving updates on the said shocking headline, that Murphy died of cardiac arrest, and her husband does not want any autopsy. (Foul play perhaps? Only tests will tell. Which by the way takes about six weeks.) Pfft.
So while I was clicking away on my poor beaten up mouse, my attention was caught by Yahoo's tiny ads. Did you know that Yahoo Messenger now has v. 10? :-)
As usual, there isn't really that much difference with v. 9 but hey, if it's free upgrade, I'd take it any given day. ;-) Check out the latest version of Yahoo Messenger here.

So basically, I am just someone who is bored, who got poured down with a lot information for an early Monday morning. ;-)

Poison.
After almost a week since the last drinking spree my friends and I had, I think I am coming to my senses why I am sick until now.
You see, Nica dubbed me as the official bartender in our group. (Which I think is really appropriate since I am the one who owns the mobile bar.) Anyway, during JR's last birthday, I made Bacardi Classic for us. It was such a hit that Nica wanted the same thing for her birthday too. Unfortunately, a couple of nights before her own party, she was amazed when I showed her my infamous flaming Kamikazee, thus scratching out the Bacardi Classic on her party. And therefore the unopened bottle was becoming lonely in their kitchen so she called us up Monday to continue her celebration, and to give Wilma a chance in on her little shindig. As much as fun would have it, little did I know that my bartending skills were a little out of control that night. Seriously. I thinked I poured in too much Bacardi in the mix. And on top of that, I allowed a simultaneous shot circus to happen.
I have no idea what came into me when I took Nica's dad's suggestion of drinking shots together. When we drink, it's the usual shot glass carousel. But not that night. Wilma loved the idea so much that we had a more than a dozen shots in a span of an hour and a half. (Well, three for Em since she gives up easily during drinking sprees.) More than a dozen (I lost count), and Wilma and I were down. Haha! As we ran out of drinks, we ended up like this:
and this:
If you're curious, I'd like to share the cocktail recipe here. It's the original Bacardi Classic recipe from way back, but of course, my mobile bar, Trix & Nix, has its own version that we aptly call GG, which we do not serve in a cocktail glass. ;-) Oh well, I'd share more on that next time. Here's Bacardi Classic, along with a little more information about the drink, and hope you have a good time drinking it. I know I did. ;-)
Only Bacardi rum should be used to make this drink. In 1936, a temporary injunction to restrain a New York hotel and restaurant from selling Bacardi cocktails unless they contained Bacardi rum was denied. The company then won a permanent injunction at the New York Supreme Court later that year.
1 2/3 oz / 5 cl Bacardi white rum
1 oz / 3 cl fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon grenadine
Pour all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake.
Strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with a cherry on a cocktail stick across the glass.
Serves 1.
Cheers! :-)

On The Rocks.
Dear Blog,
I'm sorry.
I know I should be writing more often. I don't know if it's because of the countless things I have to be doing these days, or *gulp* I'm just too lazy to squeeze out words I need to tell you. Either way, I know I've neglected you and I must make it up asap. I can't believe this is happening. Really. I hope you understand. It's not you, it's me; I'm not making that much effort to keep my word that I'll be telling you things everyday.
But I hope you'd still hear me out. I was not able to write to you these past few days because I was too hung up on shopping at Cuenca.Twice. With Monique.
*Oh please don't be jealous.* You see, this is the biggest bazaar in the south, and you know me, as an impulse buyer, this is like the Mecca of southern bazaaristas.
Don't worry, I did not over spend, in fact, I stayed in the budget. *Aren't you proud of me?*
And speaking of spending, Monique and I decided to have the expenses challenge.
Yes, blog, aside from my 28-day-rule (which is lifted up during bazaars), I accepted the expenses challenge. This will basically measure how much my lifestyle costs outside the daily allowance for food and transportation. *Can you imagine Monique branded my haircuts and mani-pedis as luxuries? I have yet to ask her if my bills are exempted too.* Which I think will keep me stuck in the house ergo hopefully give me more time to focus on us. *Unless she calls net connection, prepaid load, and phone bills as luxuries. :-(*
Oh. I also went to Nica's debut last Saturday night.
The first one in like two or three years. Gahd, I'm getting old. *Is it too pathetic of me to be depressed of getting old?* Anyway, it was really fun. I got to hang out with my childhood friends. I taught them how to bartend, basically making Nica's flaming shots. It was the quickest lesson I taught (of which I am not really familiar with) because I have to do impromptu hosting. *Oh no, Blog, don't be mad or jealous. I'm not shifting from writing to talking...* Although I really want my own radio talkshow... AND! I didn't drink alcohol the whole night.
Promise. *Oh, I took the party pictures from Pao's FB.*
No you didn't just read that. I will keep on writing. And look, I've been really productive. I did the bridal fair last weekend
*I owe you the details, don't I?*, then I dropped by my college to sponsor the college foundation day sometime this week too.
And well, I am also stuck in the office doing my day job. *I will do some decorating next week for Christmas. :-)*
You know how important my job is to me, right?
I have a lot more to tell you. Please don't take this week against me. Let's just put it this way, shall we? The more that there's stuff going on in my life means me writing more to you. Fun, isn't it? You'll be hearing more from me soon. Even if it takes this long for me to tell you everything. Even if I have to write twice in a day. Just for you to be updated with my life, I will write.
Because that's really the reason why we're together right? *I hope you really understand, explaining to you is kind of hard, I didn't know where to start.*
Anyway, it's getting late. I got to get some sleep, and we'll catch up when I wake up. Ok? :-)
Love,
Patricia :-)
PS. Please don't be too overwhelmed when my entries pile on top of one another, and multiply or facebook will always be linked. I just have that much to tell you. :-)

Round Two.
I got my planner two days ago. Haha. With the help of Monique. Which is why she is holding my planner hostage lest I hand her her own This Journal Will Actually Change Someone's Life 2010 planner this Christmas. Haha.
Anyway, for the love of coffee, I am guilty of drowning in caffeine again and collecting the stickers. I don't know if I can still drink more than a dozen cups but I am definitely sure that I want coffee. Even if it will cost me 400 calories per drink. :-(
Oh well. Anyone who wants my stickers, or perhaps the new planner, drop me a line. :-)

Fotoefek
Remember those internet image generators some time last year or the previous year before that wherein you upload your picture then just like magic your face is up on a New York billboard or has replaced Mona Lisa's understanding of a smile?
Well they're back.
Fotoefek.com (although I'm not sure if it's maintained by the same web masters), works the same. Upload your picture and voila, your face is then plastered onto some New Moon movie poster. Way to go for catching up on the bandwagon.
Oh well. I was so curious how my vampire shot would go with the movie poster so I clicked away and made my own New Moon poster.
I choose Team Patty, which as of now, should be halfway through encoding. :-P

Of Sleeping and Headaches.
I just had one of my most productive weekend in months and so I must say that the 6th bridal fair was a success. Immeasurable, yes, but in all fairness to everyone, it was better than the last, and I'm pretty much sure the next one will top this.
Anyhoo, I just woke up from a 13-hour sleep.
My head hurt so much yesterday for lack of sleep, and today ironically, it hurts again maybe from too much sleep. Either way, I had fun over the weekend and am definitely looking forward to the next one. :-)

My Love-Hate Relationship with Ronald.
While everyone else is in the hype of collecting those highly coveted stickers from Starbucks, I was up one night Facebook-ing and I saw this ad.
Cool.
But then, this would mean another full load of calorie intake for my body. The Starbucks coffee I drink basically reaches 500 calories. Imagine coupling that up with a McDonald's value meal. (Now I'm starting to crave fries. Haha!)
So ladidadida, I clicked the ad and look what I found:
Why hello there pretty glasses. :)
My jaw dropped while my heart jumped. The Coke contour glasses are back! Yay! These babies first appeared last year as clear glasses with the Olympic sports logo. There were actually five released in the Philippines, of which I only got three unfortunately. Anyway, I saw this ad on 6Nov, around midnight. I was actually tempted to dial the 8MCDO hotline to get all six. But I was too sleepy to do that so I put it to rest and decided to start collecting when I wake up.
It's been two weeks since the ad was launched. I actually have five now. The blue one is technically not mine because I gave it to Pao on his birthday, but we have it on display at the house beside my Olympic editions. :)
The lime, on the other hand, was bought for me by Monique. Yay!
So this morning, before heading to the office, I stopped by McDonald's to buy breakfast. To my shock, the branch I went in had ran out of the glasses. :( Actually, I just figured that out since I remember the ad said the promo will run til the 22nd. I have yet other branches to check out. Haha.
Oh well. It's just breakfast time. And I still have four days left til the end of the promo. I'm praying really hard to get all six. If I don't get all, will someone please sell me their GREEN contour glass? :)
Dream of Me.
While I am having this huge problem of not getting enough sleep and basically falling asleep on my office desk during the day, my cat apparently has been getting more than the average share of zzz's.
And while we're at it, he never ceases to amaze me at how he can sleep throughout the day in random pretzel-like positions.
And if you're wondering, that bear is his. He always sleeps with it.
I wonder when will I get to sleep like this one of these days...

Caffeine Overdose.
Studies show that when a person lacks sleep, they tend to be cranky, have poor concentration, and at most of the time, disoriented. I know so, because that's what I read in Reader's Digest (they had an article wherein the writer did not sleep and observed how he would cope up with the world,) and myself is a living proof to it, as what my boss has observed in the past week.
Basically I slept for less than four hours today. Not the night before, because I was wide awake, busy trying to get myself to sleep. As expected, I was cranky. Maybe not to everyone, but it is evident to the rest of the world. On top of that, I have to repeat things over to myself before I can finally understand what is going on. And as of this moment I think my eyesight is suffering from all this abuse that my body is getting.
Anyway, my rambling for tonight can be blamed on my coffee fix. Really. I have no intention to blog tonight but when my lips touched the oh-so-creamy bittersweet drink, my thoughts poured out. Imagine how I looked like walking around in the mall, drinking coffee, staring out into space and deep in thought. (Now I realize none of the salespeople in the mall approached me when I entered their boutiques.)
So tonight, I am sleepy, a bit hungry, cranky, disoriented, and caffeine-shocked, and I'm now wondering how I managed to type in four paragraphs of nonsense.
And I'm not yet done.
Because I think my memory is coming back as I remembered why I wanted to blog tonight. So while I was a caffeine zombie at the mall, I dropped by Shopwise. I was actually done with my groceries but my system is still absorbing caffeine and it has been telling me to absorb information, I stopped by the pets' aisle.
A few weeks ago, I had this dilemma of having to choose which brand should I buy for my pet, and tonight, ladies and gentlemen, I went there to see if I can resolve things. The caffeine was definitely kicking in as I found myself arguing with myself about the two brands. The case: one has this cute kitty picture, the other was in an environment-friendly packaging, not to mention cheaper.
Okay, this is one wordy rambling. I'm pretty sure when I wake up tomorrow and read what I posted tonight, I will ask myself again for the nth time, "what?"
Any idea how I can decaffeinate my system?
